In most adverts back in the 1950 there would be a white woman in nice make-up cleaning the house (housewife), serving the husband or looking after the kids this is because back then it was normalized for the housewife to be serving the husband as if she was a maid.

The text type is so it looks more eye-catching also the image is targeting a female audience

these are primary colours that represent that this ad was supposed to link to the union jack flag

They might want to get it because the woman how is doing it is also happy

One of the main stereotypes is that women do all the cleaning

the company wants you to think you should get this to make your husband happy
