It is to show how many people are on the screen. It shows the two characters interacting with each other on the same screen at the same time. It also has an aspect that maybe they are listening/watching something together because if they were talking to each other they would be looking at the speaker so most likely they are not talking but they are facing the same way.
2. camera Shot
Over the shoulder shot:
this shot is to show us the woman is doing on the computer. It is similar to first-person because it shows up what the person is doing from there perspective. The connotations of all of the computers is that this woman is good at multi-tasking possible because she is used to it.
