Denotation:                          Sad child with teary eyes thirsty child  WaterAid logo Company slogan Village behind him Connotation:  The child is sad because his village maybe lacks water. Could be water in his eyes because tears of sadness because he is realising what he doesn't have tears of joy because he is getting water. The WaterAid logo is there to show which company is helping this village.   The village behind him looks dry & they made sure to make the village lack detail so you can focus on the boy. The slogan is maybe to make people more aware & give them a wake up call so they can realise what is happening out of the area's they live in.
